Training and Support for the NHS App
We provide training and support for people using the NHS App and those who support them.
The NHS App helps people in England manage their health using a phone, tablet, or computer. You can book appointments, order medicines, check some of your health information, and get important NHS updates all in one place. It makes it easier to look after your health and save time.
What training is available?
Health and care staff
We can provide training to NHS staff and other teams working in health and social care. This will provide an overview of the NHS app and highlight how to support your clients with how to download, access and use the app.
Voluntary Organisations
Training sessions can be designed and delivered to voluntary organisations and groups. To help participants understand how to use the NHS App and the technology needed to access it.
NHS App Ambassadors
NHS App ambassadors champion the app among both colleagues and patients, promoting its many benefits and helping users to understand how to use the app’s features. We can provide training for NHS, care and voluntary sector staff to enable them to become part of the NHS App Champions network.
NHS App Ambassadors
We can train NHS staff, care staff and members of community and voluntary groups to become NHS App ambassadors.
This equips everyone working in health and care to confidently promote use of the NHS app and support clients with lower digital skills to make use of the app.
