I wasn’t happy, but with two young boys and a wife, plus another baby on the way, I really needed to get myself in a better headspace mentally and in a better shape physically. I would certainly encourage other men to give MAN v FAT Football a try. We have a great bunch of lads, there’s great banter and, of course, we also really enjoy the football.
I’ve been lucky, the boys in my ‘Man Titty’ team are brilliant. We have a great turnout each week which has allowed us to build a great team spirit. We don’t have any egos, encourage each other and if we do get annoyed at each other if it isn’t going our way (we do like to win after all) it’s forgotten as quickly as it happened.
